Willkommen to my German Kitchen!
Hi! My name is Davia, and I am so happy that you are here on my German Food & Culture Blog. My goal is for YOU to fall in love with the delicious flavors and rich traditions of each dish—from freshly baked Laugen Bretzels to tender cakes, Rouladen, or Spätzle.
I also share upcoming in-person classes and market dates—catch me at the Burlington County Farmers Market.
Our stay at a horse farm on Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria—one of our favorite spots near Salzburg.
“Welcome” in German means Willkommen—a word I display at each farmers’ market. My passion for baking and my love for Germany inspired this space, where I share my favorite recipes with you.
Through my markets, I discovered that my greatest joy isn’t just selling baked goods, but being part of a community that embraces my German culture.

This is fantastic. Looking forward to learning and taking in all the cooking tips that you have to offer.
Best,

Thank you so much Stacy! Looking forward to seeing you and your father again at the markets and sharing some of the baking & cooking tips with everyone <3
Davia, I really enjoyed learning how to make Apfelstrudel; it was fun working as a group stretching out the dough and preparing the fillings; and of course now I know how to make the Vanillesosse!
I look forward to trying some of your other German recipes and baked goods.
Bis bald,
Fred Knaak
Fred, thank you so much for your kind words. It was such a joy to have you part of the group. I hope to see you again soon at the market. It’s the best part about classes, meeting new people and having fun together. I’ll send out an email after the market this Saturday with some other strudel filling ideas.
Davia,
I am a fan! I just watched your premier YouTube video and loved it. You have such a warm and gentle presence and it really comes through in your speaking. My sweet son-in-law, Michael Mazuk, led me to your bakery website, as I have gone to the Burlington County Farmer’s Market in the past. I am looking forward to seeing you there sometime as well as reading your blog and newsletters.
I love your sweet family (via Riverstone Church) and wish you the very best!!
Dee Dee (Annie & Vivi’s oma.)
